In this week’s blog, you will learn about printing capabilities that we believe are a must.
Offset Printing
This printing practice is a necessity for a print company. Offset Printing is generally used for projects that are printed in large quantities. This process can take longer than other printing styles due to the setup and maintenance. The ink is not transferred directly to the paper. A reel of paper is fed continually to keep the project printing. There is often a per piece price break when you print more pieces. For instance, if you order 500 pieces the per piece price will be higher than if you order 1000 pieces. The details and color of the print piece are spectacular when using offset printing.
Digital Printing
The great thing about digital printing is a quick turnaround. If you are in a time crunch and need to have a print job completed, then digital is what you are looking for. The price per piece is higher for digital printing, however with digital you don’t have to pay the setup fees that you would with offset printing. On-demand printing is one of the top reasons to use digital printing. This allows customers to make a quick change to a print piece and still be able to complete the job in a short amount of time. The capability of digital presses allows larger quantities of pieces to print at a low price.
Screen Printing
Screen Printing is a very popular application that can be used on any flat surface. When you are printing a small number of promotional products this a great way to stay within your budget. Screen Printing is often used for marketing purposes or sports items. Some examples that screen printing is often used are t-shirts, hats, bags, hoodies, and mouse pads. A few fabrics that can be used are cotton, silk, and polyester. If you think outside the box, this method can also be used to customize many household items like linens, curtains, and sheets. To perform screen printing ink is transferred through mesh onto the flat surface. A blade is used by moving it across a screen to fill open mesh areas with ink. Only one color is applied at a time so there may have to have several screens to create a multi-color print.
Grand Format / Wide Format
This printing technique is used when normal printing production equipment is too small to print large dimensions. Common uses for grand format banners, wall calendars, posters for windows or walls, and store displays. This printing technique is great to grab people’s attention from a distance.
At Accent Group Solutions we provide all these printing services. So, whether you need flyers printed, large store displays, or t-shirts we have you covered. To learn more about the services that we offer visit our website or fill out our form and one of our staff members will contact you.
